International Inclusive Sitting Volleyball Regulations (First Version)
A set of rules for Inclusive Sitting Volleyball to facilitate the game and providing specific regulations. The regulations will establish new rules, taking into account the project’s focus on inclusiveness and education, as well as practical aspects relating to the possibility of playing the sport in schools, associations, etc. These will establish special provisions/game variations specific for Inclusive Sitting Volleyball.
Data Collection Guidelines and Questionnaires
A useful tool to develop an analysis concerning the test of the game through two different questionnaires, one addressed to coaches and teachers and another one addressed to young players, in order to collect feedback useful to make changes/adjustment to the First Version of the Regulations.
User feedback report
This deliverable will report on the results of the questionnaires and data collection carried out by partner organisations during national tournaments. The questionnaires will be submitted to users both live and online for the purpose of collecting feedback that will help partner organisations in the review process linked to the implementation of a new set of rules for Sitting Volley.
SITPLAY Teacher Training material and Event
This output will provide training materials for the teachers/coaches who will be responsible for preparing the teams participating in National Events. A Training Event Webinar will be implemented and accessible online (also on YouTube). The Webinar will consist of different training units:
- Presentation of the project and the Regulations;
- Technical explanation of the game (how to teach the game);
- Ways to integrate able and disabled people (how to be really inclusive).
International Inclusive Sitting Volleyball Regulations (Final version)
This deliverable will be the result of the testing process carried out during the National Events. The Final Version of the Regulations will take into consideration the “User feedback” (captured through the questionnaires), in order to review and reconsider, if necessary, the First Version of the Regulations. This process is needed given the nature and objectives of the project. This set of specific rules will allow to spread Inclusive Sitting Volley and make it easy to reproduce in a high number of European educational contexts.
SIT2PLAY Best Practices and Guidelines
This deliverable will collect and present both SIT2PLAY activities and other Best Practices concerning disability and social inclusion that may be used and transferred to different sports and educational contexts. The report will take into account other results from complementary projects (funded by the Erasmus+ Programme in the same field) with a view to sharing experiences among peers, mutually reinforcing the activities implemented.
This deliverable will be a handbook for teachers, educators, parents’ kids and other operators, containing the essential rules of the game (taken from the Regulations), some tips and tricks, and guidelines for an easy understand of Inclusive Sitting Volleyball. This output will increase the project impact by providing a tool for an easy implementation of the game and therefore a way to spread it around Europe. The handbook will also be useful as a “template” for other similar projects and initiatives carried out in other sports and contexts.
