The Turkish Federation of Persons with Physical Disability’s (TBESF) delegation and the Turkish Volleyball Federation’s (TVF) delegation met within the scope of the European Union Erasmus+ Sit2Play project.

The TBESF’s delegation under the presidency of Arif Umit Uzturk and TVF’s delegation under the presidency of Turkish Volleyball Federation Senior Vice President Alper Sedat Aslandas met at the TBESF’s headquarters. TBESF’s Secretary General Erhan Durukan, TBESF’s sitting volleyball national team head coach Yusuf Kenan Kok, TVF’s Fabrika volleyball coordinator Fuat Firat, and TVF’s sports organizations & international relations responsible Sara Alturk attended the meeting on which the representatives of the federations exchanged their opinions about the European Union Erasmus+ Sit2Play project which will be carried out in partnership between Italian Volleyball Federation and Turkish Volleyball Federation. The participants will be able to gain new knowledge of sitting volleyball through online education platform, established within the scope of the project, and a seminar will be organised for the coaches, referees, athletes, and parents. Both, abled and disabled students (male and female) will be able to attend the practices and play sitting volleyball in mixed teams. A national tournament will be organised in Turkey and at least three teams of different schools will be participating. The winning team will qualify for the international event which will be held in Italy. The project which aims to increase the social cohesion and social integration of disabled persons into sports activities will be carried out during 2019, in the close cooperation of eight partners.

La Turchia in campo per Sit2Play

Le delegazione della Federazione turca delle persone con disabilità fisica (TBESF) e della Federazione turca di pallavolo (TVF) si sono riunite nell’ambito del progetto dell’Unione europea Erasmus + Sit2Play.

La delegazione di TBESF sotto la presidenza di Arif Umit Uzturk e la delegazione di TVF sotto la presidenza della Federazione turca di pallavolo, il vicepresidente senior Alper Sedat Aslandas, si sono incontrate nel quartier generale della TBESF. Il segretario generale della TBESF, Erhan Durukan, l’allenatore della squadra nazionale di sitting volley TBESF, Yusuf Kenan Kok, il coordinatore Fabrika per la pallavolo della TVF, Fuat Firat e Sara Alturk, le organizzazioni sportive e le relazioni internazionali della TVF, hanno partecipato all’incontro in cui i rappresentanti delle federazioni hanno scambiato le loro opinioni sul progetto Erasmus + Sit2Play che sarà realizzato in partnership tra Federazione Italiana Volley e Federazione Turca di Volley. I partecipanti saranno in grado di acquisire nuove conoscenze di sitting volley attraverso la piattaforma di formazione online, istituita nell’ambito del progetto, e un seminario sarà organizzato per gli allenatori, arbitri, atleti e genitori. Inoltre, studenti disabili e normodotati (maschi e femmine) proveranno a giocare a sitting volley in squadre miste. In Turchia sarà organizzato un torneo nazionale e parteciperanno almeno tre squadre di diverse scuole. La squadra vincente si qualificherà per l’evento internazionale che si terrà in Italia. Il progetto che mira ad aumentare la coesione sociale e l’integrazione sociale delle persone disabili nelle attività sportive verrà realizzato nel 2019, in stretta collaborazione con otto partner europei.
